After Saturday morning's scrimmage Gators coach Will Muschamp addressed a recent report from Yahoo! Sports that alleged Gators receivers coach Aubrey Hill may have broken NCAA rules during his time at Miami on Randy Shannon's staff.
Muschamp said he and Hill have talked about the report and that he is comfortable moving forward after their discussion.
"I talked to Aubrey after the article came out," Muschamp said, making his public comments on the topic. "I feel very comfortable with he and I's conversation. I support Aubrey 100 percent. I'm glad he's here at Florida and that's all I'm really going to comment on."
Hill recently returned to UF as part of Muschamp's inaugural staff, serving as receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. Hill played at Florida from 1991-94, finishing with 86 catches, 18 for touchdowns.
Muschamp discussed several other topics after today's scrimmage and I will post additional blogs shortly. For now, if you happen to be within distance of campus, Verizon Fan Day is about to start at the O'Connell Center.
The Gator volleyball and football teams will be there to meet with fans. The volleyball team is also holding a scrimmage that is free and open to the public.
