UF football players Jon Halapio and Earl Okine uninjured on Sunday in car accident on I-10

Gators offensive lineman Jon Halapio and defensive end Earl Okine were not injured in a car accident in Madison County on Sunday afternoon.
According to WCTV in Tallahassee, the accident reportedly happened around 2:30 p.m. when the car they were in swerved off I-10 and hit some small bushes and trees in the median.
Neither player required medical attention according to the report. Both players are back in Gainesville and expected to practice on Monday according to a UAA official.
Halapio is a redshirt sophomore who enters the season as the starting right guard. A redshirt junior, Okine is a reserve.
“God is so good,'' Halapio posted on his Twitter account Sunday. “So blessed to be alive.''
