
Walk-On Tryouts Set for Oct. 5

The University of Florida men's basketball coaching staff will be holding a walk-on tryout at the Basketball Practice Facility on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m.
In order to be eligible to try out, a student must complete the tryout clearance form and provide proof of insurance. To complete the tryout clearance form you will need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center and obtain the following signatures:
· Head coach of sport (or designee) certifying that he/she is allowing the student to tryout for the team.
· Tom Williams in the Office of Student Life, certifying that the student is enrolled full-time (at least 12 hours) at UF.
· Dave Werner, athletic trainer for men's basketball, certifying that the student has received a physical and a sickle cell solubility test (at your own expense).
· Savannah Evans in the Compliance office (room 225 on the west side of the football stadium, enter at Gate 1), certifying that the student is eligible to tryout and has requested their NCAA Eligibility Center final amateurism.

When picking up the paperwork from the basketball office you must turn in an official copy of your current class schedule printed from ISIS.
