Gators in orange jerseys, white pants in Muschamp's debut

When first-year Gators coach Will Muschamp lived in Gainesville in the 1980s and watched players like Wilber Marshall and David Galloway deliver big hits on defense, they did it in orange jerseys.
Muschamp has spoken fondly of the orange tops from those days. Prior to last season's home loss to LSU, the last time the Gators played in orange tops and white pants was in Emmitt Smith's senior season in 1989.
When Steve Spurrier took over the program in 1990, the Gators went to blue jerseys most of the time.
Well, in Muschamp's debut against Florida Atlantic tonight, the Gators came out in orange jerseys and white pants.
Just the way he remembers from his time growing up within walking distance of The Swamp.
