
Gators in the NFL- Conference Round Update

Four former Gators were active during the Conference Round of the NFL Playoffs. Of those four, three started for their respective teams. No former Gators found the endzone but Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Spikes and Ray McDonald all put forth great efforts for their teams.
The New England Patriots and New York Giants advance to Super Bowl XLVI set to be played February 5 at 6:35 p.m. ET. The Game will feature a combined five former Gators although only three are expected to play.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
• Jermaine Cunningham- Placed on Injured Reserve with a leg injury
• Aaron Hernandez- Started at TE and caught a game-high seven balls for 66 yards in a thrilling victory over the Ravens. Hernandez also had three rushes for 9 yards
• Brandon Spikes- Started at LB and collected a team-high nine tackles along with the team's only interception
• Gerard Warren- Corralled three tackles during the AFC Championship game
NEW YORK GIANTS
• Justin Trattou- Not active for the NFC Championship game
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
• Ray McDonald- Started at DT and registered a monster game with five tackles, two and a half sacks, one tackle for a loss, two QB hurries and one forced fumble.
