When they were at Florida, Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Spikes always seemed in the middle of the action in the Gators' biggest games. It was that way on Sunday too, as Hernandez and Spikes played prominent roles in helping New England beat Baltimore to advance to the Super Bowl.

Former Gators Gerard Warren, Jermaine Cunningham and Justin Trattou are also Super Bowl-bound. Warren is a regular on the Patriots' defensive line while Cunningham is on injured reserve for New England. Trattou is a rookie with the Giants and was not on the active roster for New York's win at San Francisco.
