
Gator Soccer Places 11 on the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll

Eleven members of the University of Florida soccer team were named Wednesday to the 2011 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll by league commissioner Mike Slive. The 2011 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2011 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.
Two of Florida's recipients – Holly King and Kathryn Williamson –also appeared on the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America teams.
The following criteria must be met by a student-athlete to be recognized on the SEC Academic Honor Roll:
· have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution
· be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship
· have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution
· have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment
