Saturday, January 28, 2012 | Women's Basketball
Florida enjoyed a midweek bye and returns to action on Sunday when it travels to Fayetteville, Ark., to play the red-hot Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena where tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT.
The Gators are in the midst of the three-game SEC road swing. Florida lost a tough 57-52 decision at No. 6 Kentucky on Sunday, January 22nd and now plays at Arkansas before heading to Baton Rouge on Feb. 2nd for a second meeting this year against LSU.
Sunday will be Florida's eighth SEC game, marking the half-way point of the team's 16-game league schedule. The Gators (3-4) enter Sunday tied with two other schools for seventh in the standings, a half-game behind Arkansas (4-4).
Arkansas lost its first four SEC games of the year, with three of those coming on the road, before reeling off four straight lopsided wins, as the Razorbacks have downed Auburn (59-39), Vanderbilt (69-47), LSU (72-52) and Mississippi State (51-35). Arkansas sports a 10-1 record at home, with the lone setback coming against Tennessee on Jan. 8.
