Gator Lacrosse Tabbed No. 2 in Inside Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Top 20

The University of Florida lacrosse team has been tabbed as the preseason No. 2 by the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook women's preseason poll, released by the publication on Monday.
The Gators return all starters from a season ago that advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA tournament and posted the best record in the three-year history of Florida lacrosse with a 19-3 overall mark. Florida also posted a perfect 5-0 mark in ALC action, as they captured both the regular season and conference tournament championships in 2012.
Of the preseason Top 20, the Gators will face eight in the 2013 season (Syracuse, Northwestern, North Carolina, Loyola, Penn State, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Albany). The 2013 slate kicks off on Feb. 9 at North Carolina at 12 p.m.
