GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators have welcomed Tigers to The Swamp many times over the years, mostly those from Auburn and LSU.
On Saturday it's the Missouri Tigers' turn to face Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The two teams have met only once and that was more than 40 years ago in the 1966 Sugar Bowl.
The Gators (7-1, 6-1 in SEC) will try to rebound from their loss to Georgia last weekend in Jacksonville and keep their hopes of an SEC East title alive. Meanwhile, in its first year in the SEC, Missouri beat Kentucky a week ago for its first conference win.
