Gators Ranked Fifth in Both Polls

The University of Florida men's basketball team was ranked No. 5 in the most recent Associated Press and USA Today's Coaches' Poll. UF remains the fifth-ranked team in the coaches' poll for the second-consecutive week and moved up one spot in the Associated Press Poll since last week.
The Gators defeated Florida State, 72-49, in their only game last week. This week, Florida will travel to Tuscon, Ariz. to face No. 8 Arizona on Saturday, December 15. The Wildcats will be the second nationally-ranked opponent UF has played this season and first top-10 foe.
