
Central Michigan Takes First Game of Classic 98-84 Over St. Joseph's

With six players scoring in double-figures, the Central Michigan women's basketball team took the first game of the Gator Holiday Classic Thursday afternoon 98-84 over St. Joseph's in the O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla.
Sophomore Brandi Baker led all Chippewas with 16 points to go with 10 rebounds for a double-double. As a team, CMU out-rebounded St. Joseph's 43-41 with Baker leading all rebounders.
Central Michigan will play Florida in the Gator Holiday Classic championship game on Friday at 7 p.m., while Saint Joseph's takes on Savanna State at 4:30 p.m.
