Donovan uncertain if Murphy will play at FSU

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The sixth-ranked Gators (6-0) play at Florida State (4-3) on Wednesday night and once again, Florida coach Billy Donovan might need to roll out a different starting lineup than last game.
The reason this time is senior forward Erik Murphy's hip pointer. Donovan said Monday that Murphy (12.3 points, 4.2 rebounds) has not practiced since the Gators' 82-49 win over Marquette on Thursday.
Donovan hopes Murphy can practice today before the Gators bus to Tallahassee.
“What his status will be on Wednesday, I'm not sure,'' Donovan said. “I don't know what's going to happen to the starting lineup right now. I would say Erik, based on what he is able to do [Tuesday], if anything, will have something to do with that.”
Murphy played only 17 minutes in the victory over Marquette due to pain from the hip pointer, finishing with 10 points and three rebounds.
Donovan used the same starting lineup in the season's first five games – Murphy and Will Yeguete at forward, Patric Young at center, and Kenny Boynton and Mike Rosario at guard. However, point guard Scottie Wilbekin made his first start of the season against Marquette as Donovan used a three-guard starting lineup and used Young off the bench.
