With University of Florida women's basketball head coach Amanda Butler out of town, assistant coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick stepped in and addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Florida (16-9, 6-6 SEC) concludes its two-game SEC road trip against nationally-ranked opponents on Thursday when the team travels to Nashville to play Vanderbilt at 9 p.m. ET. The Gators then play host to Georgia on Sunday in the squad's Play 4 Kay game, an SEC initiative to create awareness of breast cancer.
Florida split the results of its two games last week, earning a 70-56 win against Auburn, before dropping a 62-58 decision at South Carolina on Sunday.
