T.J. Vogel Named GolfWeek Player of the Week

University of Florida junior T.J. Vogel (Cooper City, Fla.) has been named GolfWeek Player of the Week, the publication announced today.
Vogel, who helped lead the Gators to their second team title of the season, takes home the honor after claiming his first-career title capturing the Sea Best Invitational after firing a three-round total of 216 (E). With his victory, Vogel moved up to No. 7 in the GolfWeek/Saragin college rankings.
Vogel and the rest of the Gators will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 11, when they host the SunTrust Gator Invitational at the Mark Bostick Golf Course. Admission is free to the public. The event has also been designated a Rowdy Reptiles check-in event where students can scan their Gator 1 cards to earn 10 points.
