THEY'RE NO. 1
Tuesday night's ESPN showdown between Florida and Kentucky will mark the 10th time in the program's history the Gators have faced an opponent ranked No. 1 in the nation in the Associated Press poll. Not surprisingly, the Wildcats were the foe on seven of the previous nine instances. Perhaps surprisingly, Florida has won two straight vs. No. 1s (but never defeated a top-ranked Cats squad).
