Beal and Boynton Named NABC District 21 Second-Team Selections

Gator freshman Bradley Beal (St. Louis, Mo.) and junior Kenny Boynton (Pompano Beach, Fla.) have been named National Association of Basketball Coaches' second-team All-District 21 selections, the NABC announced today.
Beal, who was named a coaches' first-team All-SEC selection, averaged 14.6 points and a team-best 6.5 rebounds per game, while Boynton, who was also a coaches' first-team All-SEC selection, averaged a team-leading 16.3 points per game.
Beal, Boynton and the rest of the Gators return to action on Friday, March 16, when they face Virginia in the Round of 64 in Omaha, Ne. at 2:10 p.m. The contest will air on TNT with Marv Albert and Steve Kerr on the call.
