UF Softball Versus Chattanooga Officially a 'No Game'
Wednesday, March 14, 2012 | Softball
The first game of No. 4 UF softball's originally scheduled doubleheader Wednesday has been officially ruled a 'No Game' and will not be a game of record for either squad. After two previous lightning delays, the head umpire called game due to inclement weather in the bottom of the fourth inning with one out, Florida leading 11-0. Because the game was not the required five innings, it will be recorded a 'No Game', meaning no statistics count.
Florida returns to action at home this weekend with a three-game conference series versus South Carolina March 16-18. Game times are 6 p.m., 1 p.m., 1 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. Saturday's tilt will be featured on Sun Sports, while all three games will stream on GatorVision.tv and air on 104.9-FM, 105 The Game.
