
DeVon Walker Signs National Letter of Intent for Florida

Winter Haven wing DeVon Walker has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the University of Florida men's basketball team for the 2012-13 season.
Walker averaged 23.8 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a senior to help lead Winter Haven to the Class 6A state semifinals and a 21-8 record. He was named a Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-State performer after his strong senior year.
The 6-foot-6 Walker joins a trio of incoming players the Gators signed in the fall, including Michael Frazier (Tampa, Fla.), Dillon Graham (Orlando, Fla.) and Braxton Ogbueze (Charlotte, N.C.).
