
Gators Travel to Gary Koch Invitational for Final Regular Season Tournament

Coming off a tie for third in the Schenkel Invitational, the University of Florida men's golf team will wrap up its regular season with a trip to Old Memorial Golf Club in Tampa for the Gary Koch Invitational on Saturday, April 7.
The Gators will send a lineup of juniors T.J. Vogel (Cooper City, Fla.) and Tyler McCumber (Ponte Vedra, Fla.), freshmen J.D. Tomlinson (Gainesville, Fla.) and Eric Banks (Truro, Canada) and senior Michael Furci (Sayville, N.Y.) to the par-72 7,389 yard course.
UF will face a solid 15-team field which features seven teams that are ranked in the top-25 of the latest Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Additionally, eight top-20 golfers from the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings will be representing their teams at Old Memorial.
The Orange and Blue have competed in the Gary Koch Invitational six times, winning the event in 2001 and 2005.
The 54-hole tournament will run Saturday and Sunday, April 7 and 8, with live stats for the event available through golfstat.com.
