ESPN Reopens College GameDay Commercial Fan Vote
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 | Football
After determining the integrity and accuracy of the vote had been compromised, ESPN has decided to reopen the voting with a clean slate for the College GameDay commercial fan vote. With increased levels of security, the voting will begin on Tuesday, May 1 and continue through Thursday, May 10.
As part of this year's marketing campaign for College GameDay, ESPN is letting fans decide the campus where ESPN will film one of its commercials. Fans from all Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) schools will be able to vote to have the opportunity for GameDay to shoot an ad on their campus in late July or early August. The school that receives the most votes over the 10-day period wins.
Beginning today, fans can vote once per day for the Orange and Blue at the following sites: GameDayVote.com, m.GameDayVote.com on mobile devices, as well as on GameDay's Facebook page www.facebook.com/collegegameday.
