Camilla Hedberg Named Honorable Mention NGCA All-American

Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year, Camilla Hedberg (Sitges, Spain), has been named Honorable Mention All-American by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA), announced last Friday.
Camilla Hedberg, who received SEC Golfer of the Week honors twice in 2012, set the school record for lowest season stroke average (73.52) among freshmen. Jessica Yadloczky currently previously held the record with a 74.00 stroke average in 2007-08. Hedberg's stroke average in 2012 ranks third all-time in school history. Hedberg compiled four top-10 finishes, including a second place finish at the SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational, during her initial campaign.
Senior Evan Jensen (Belleair, Fla.) was also named to the NGCA All-Region Team. Jensen handed in a team-best 217 (+1) at the Penn State Blue Course during the NCAA East Regional tournament. Jensen finished tied for seventh at the event.
