
Seven UF Student-Athletes to Receive Degrees at Summer Commencement

Summer graduation ceremonies take place on the University of Florida campus this weekend and seven current and former Gator student-athletes will receive diplomas. UF's summer commencement ceremonies will take place Friday through Sunday according to college assignment.

The Florida football and soccer teams each have a pair set to receive their degrees this weekend. Men's basketball, women's golf and volleyball will each see one student-athlete graduate this weekend.
Among the Gator graduates are three who were part of national championship teams while wearing the orange & blue. Taurean Green, point guard for Florida's 2006 and 2007 NCAA Championship basketball teams, returned to campus to finish coursework for his degree. Two who were members of Florida's 2008 BCS Championship football team – Earl Okine and Terron Sanders – receive degree this weekend.
