Women's Lacrosse Places 21 on ALC Academic Honor Roll

The University of Florida women's lacrosse team placed 21 student-athletes on the annual American Lacrosse Conference (ALC) Academic Honor Roll, announced by Commissioner Craig Barnett Thursday.
The Gators had 10 players named to the award for the third time in their career while six newcomers appeared on the list for the first time. The award is given to student-athletes who held a 3.0 GPA or higher during the 2011-12 academic year.
UF, the reigning regular season and conference tournament champions, has the second-most honorees amongst their conference opponents, as Northwestern and Vanderbilt each placed 23 on the list. Overall, 124 ALC student-athletes were honored for their work in the classroom.
