Head coach Becky Burleigh talked with the media as part of UF's All Sports Press Conference on Monday.
No. 24 Florida (3-2-1, 0-0 SEC) opens Southeastern Conference play this weekend with a pair of road matches. League play begins for the Gators at Kentucky (5-1, 0-0 SEC) next Friday at the UK Soccer Complex beginning at 7 p.m. Florida then plays at Auburn (4-3, 0-0 SEC) on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Gators earned a 3-2 win against New Mexico on Sunday in the team's only game last week. Annie Speese, Erika Tymrak and Holly King each scored for the Gators, who rallied from a 2-1 deficit to the victory.
