COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The Gators are trying to climb their way back to the top of the SEC. The Aggies want to make a statement in their first game in the SEC.
Those two quests collide Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field.
You know it's a big game when ESPN's "College GameDay" comes to town, and Texas A&M fans are reveling in the pageantry of one of the Aggies' most-anticipated games in school history.
Gators coach Will Muschamp understands the challenge ahead for the Gators in their first time playing at Kyle Field. Muschamp coached there when he was defensive coordinator at Texas.
"It's an SEC-like atmosphere; it's going to be very similar to a lot of stadiums that we walk into,'' Muschamp said. "We've got some guys who are traveling for the first time and are playing in that atmosphere for the first time, so again I think all of our guys can help with that as well as myself."
If you can't be in College Station on Saturday, you can join GatorZone.com's live blog to join the conversation and follow the game.
This is the first time the Gators have played in the Lone Star State since the 1982 Bluebonnet Bowl against Arkansas. GatorZone.com senior writers Scott Carter and Chris Harry will be in the press box covering the game.
