Gators in the NFL ? Conference Round Update

Five former Gators were active for the Conference Round of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday. Of those five, three started for their respective teams. Two former Gators, Ray McDonald and Deonte Thompson, will be on rosters for Super Bowl XLVII on February 3 in New Orleans.

· Mike Peterson – Saw action at LB
BALTIMORE RAVENS
· Deonte Thompson – Was not active
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
· Jermaine Cunningham – Saw action at DE and recorded a tackle
· Aaron Hernandez – Started at TE and recorded a rush for six yards and nine receptions for 83 yards
· Brandon Spikes – Started at LB and recorded a team-high 11 tackles and one quarterback hit
· Jeff Demps – On injured reserve
