The Gator are Off and Running, First Practice in the Books
Tuesday, October 1, 2013 | Women's Basketball
The University of Florida women's basketball team held its first official team practice of the 2013-14 season, with the initial drill getting underway at 4 p.m. on the Terry Frost Practice Court inside the Basketball Complex.
All 10 Gators suited up and were 'full go' for the inaugural practice of head coach Amanda Butler's seventh season leading her alma mater.
Sophomore January Miller (Orlando, Fla.) earned the Brickhouse Award for today's practice.
What's the Brickhouse Award?
It's an award given to one Gator following each practice and game based on 6 things tracked, such as hustle plays tips, how well a player communicated and charges.
