Kasey Hill Named to Bob Cousy Award Watch List

Freshman Kasey Hill has been selected to the 2014 Bob Cousy Award Watch List as announced by The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this afternoon.
Hill, a McDonald's All-American last season, is one of four freshmen to be nominated to this year's watch list.
Named for hall of famer and former Boston Celtic Bob Cousy, the award recognizes the top point guards in men's college basketball. Currently, 45 players make up the list of candidates which will then be narrowed down to a final 20 in early February and a final five in early March. The Gators begin play next week as they play host to Florida Southern in an exhibition match on Nov. 1 (Tickets) before tipping off the regular season on Nov. 8 against North Florida in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
