
Gator Baseball Season-Ticket Sales Start Tuesday

Season tickets for the 2014 Gator Baseball season will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 8. Season tickets can be purchased online at www.GatorZone.com/tickets or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The deadline to renew season tickets is Thursday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m.
The Gators' 56-game schedule features 34 games within the friendly confines of McKethan Stadium at Perry Field, where the squad is 175-50 (.778) during head coach Kevin O'Sullivan's six-year tenure. In addition to the season-opening, three-game series against Maryland from Friday-Sunday, Feb. 14-16, Florida will also welcome traditional Sunshine State rivals Florida State (March 18), Florida A&M (April 23), Florida Atlantic (April 1), Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 27 & March 1), Jacksonville (April 22), North Florida (Feb. 19), UCF (April 2) and USF (May 13).
Other foes who will visit include Connecticut (March 7-9), Illinois (Feb. 28 & March 2), Illinois State (March 12) and Mercer (May 6). The five, three-game SEC home series pit the Gators against Arkansas (March 14-16), LSU (March 28-30), Georgia (April 18-20), Missouri (April 25-27) and Vanderbilt (May 9-11).

Last season, Florida advanced to NCAA Regionals for the sixth year in a row and has reached the College World Series in three of the past four campaigns.
