Head coach Amanda Butler talked with the media as part of UF's All Sports Press Conference on Monday.
With just 4 days remaining until the start of the 2013-14 season, Coach provided her assessment of the Gator's preseason workouts and fielded a number of questions such as:
The Gator's improvements between scrimmages;
Who's stepping up their leadership;
Friday's opponent, Bethune-Cookman;
What she's looking for from the Gators during their opener on Sunday.

Season-Opener a Homecoming Affair:
The Gators play host to Bethune-Cookman on Fri., Nov. 8 at 5:15 p.m. in the O'Connell Center. It's the second game of a Gator Basketball double-header, with the men's team facing North Florida at 3 p.m.
Those events help kick-off the school's annual football homecoming activities, with the Homecoming Parade starting at noon along University Avenue.
The O'Connell Center parking lot will open at 2 p.m. following the parade to fans attending the basketball games. Details on a shuttle will be available in the near future.
Gator Growl, the largest student-run pep rally in the nation, begins at 7 p.m. inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, with featured performances by The Fray, Sister Hazel and New Directions Veterans Choir.
On Saturday, the Gator football team plays host to Vanderbilt at a time to be announced.
The women's hoops team will encourage Gator fans to keep their Orange & Blue spirit high and attend its game on Sunday against North Florida at 2 p.m. to cap an event-filled weekend.
