Gators Check in at No. 12 in AP Poll

The University of Florida men's basketball team climbed one spot to No. 12 in the Associated Press Poll and to No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.
Florida defeated Savannah State on Sunday, 76-34, as four Gators contributed with double-figure scoring efforts. Senior Patric Young led the way for the Orange and Blue with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting. With his output, Young joined the 1,000 point club moving into 49th place in the school record books after finishing the afternoon with a total of 1,003 career points.
The Gators return home on Jan. 4 to take on Richmond in the final non-conference event of the season before opening SEC action in the O'Connell Center against South Carolina on Jan.8. Fans can click here to view ticket options and purchase available tickets.
