Florida signees Kasey Hill (Montverde/Eustis, Fla.) and Chris Walker (Holmes County/Bonifay, Fla.) have both been named to the McDonald's All-American game on April 3 at the United Center in Chicago.
The pair become the 15th and 16th players signed by head coach Billy Donovan to be honored with a McDonald's All-American selection, including current Gators Kenny Boynton (Pompano Beach, Fla.) and Patric Young (Jacksonville, Fla.). The Gators also have 2008 McDonald's All-American Mike Rosario (Jersey City, N.J.), who came to UF by way of Rutgers, on their roster. Prior to Donovan's arrival, Florida had signed just three McDonald's All-Americans in program history.
A Gator signee has now been named to the game in four of the past five years and seven UF signees have been named to the past seven games.
