For the second time this season, University of Florida guard Michael Frazier II (Tampa, Fla.) was named the SEC Freshman of the Week, the conference announced today. This marks the third individual honor for a Florida player this year.
Last week against Auburn, Frazier found his touch from beyond the arc. He tallied a career-best 18 points on six three-point field goals. He only missed one three pointer on the day.
Frazier leads all true freshmen in the conference with 39 three pints field goals made. He has played in every game for the Orange and Blue this season, averaging 6.3 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per contest.
The team is back in action on Tuesday, February 19 when UF takes on SEC-newcomer Missouri in Columbia. Florida defeated the Tigers 83-52 in their previous meeting this year.
