The honors keep coming for former Gator David Lee as he was recognized as the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week. Lee joins nine other former players in the NBA this season.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
The rookie did not play in any games for Washington last week due to injury. Beal is averaging 13.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, and 2.5 apg for the Wizards this year.
Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner has played in 41 games for San Antonio this season, averaging 4.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg. Like Beal, Bonner has struggled with injuries as of late. He played in one game last week, scoring four points and pulling down two rebounds against Washington on Saturday, February 2.
Corey Brewer, Denver Nuggets
Brewer has played in every game for Denver this year, averaging 11.5 ppg and 3.2 rpg. This past week, he finished with at least 17 points on two occasions. In the Nuggets' last outing against Milwaukee on Tuesday, February 5, Brewer scored 20 points. It marked the fifth time this season he has scored at least 20 points.
Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat
Miami's all-time leader in rebounds has played in 43 games this season, starting 27. He is averaging 3.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Last week, Haslem averaged 3.8 ppg and 3.8 rpg in the Heat's four games.
Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks
On the year, Horford is averaging 15.9 ppg and 9.8 rpg. He recorded two double-doubles this past week. Against Toronto on Wednesday, January 30, Horford was four assist shy of a triple-double. He had 22 points and 10 rebounds to go with his six helpers.
David Lee, Golden State Warriors
The Western Conference Player of the Week is currently seventh in rebounding and is the 12th-leading scorer in the league, averaging 19.4 ppg and 11.0 rpg. Last week, he had two doubles-double and at least 15 points in every game for Golden State. Against Dallas on Thursday, January 31, he pulled down a season-high 20 rebounds and was one assist shy of a triple-double.
Mike Miller, Miami Heat
In 38 games, Miller is averaging 3.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg. He played in one game for the Heat this past week, recording one rebound and one assist against Brooklyn on Wednesday, January 30.
Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls
Along with Lee, Noah is one of nine players in the league to be averaging a double-double (12.1 ppg and 11.3 rpg). He currently is tied for fourth in the league in rebounding. Last week, Noah played in one game due to injury. He tallied a double-double (12 points and 12 rebounds) against Milwaukee on Wednesday, January 30.
Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets
Parsons is averaging 14.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 3.7 apg for Houston in 49 games this year. In the past week, he finished with at least 16 points in every game for Houston and had one double-double.
Marresse Speights, Cleveland Cavaliers
Speights has scored at least 10 points in every game he has played in for the Cleveland since joining the team two weeks ago. Against Oklahoma City on Saturday, February 2, he scored 21 points, his second game this season with at least 20 points. Speights is averaging 7.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
