NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Gators face LSU on Friday afternoon (1 p.m. ET) in their first game of the 2013 SEC Tournament.

The SEC regular-season champion Gators (24-6) rolled to a 74-52 win over the Tigers (19-11) in Baton Rouge on Jan. 12, holding LSU to a season-low 32.3 percent shooting percentage.
LSU advanced with a 68-63 win over Georgia on Thursday in which the Tigers committed a season-low five turnovers.
The Gators have not played since closing the regular season with a 61-57 loss at Kentucky on Saturday. The winner of today's game advances to Saturday's semifinals to face the Alabama-Tennessee winner.
Florida is 2-8 against LSU in SEC Tournament play but won the meeting here in 2006, defeating the Tigers 81-65 on the way to the first national title in school history.
