The Gators have arrived in Eugene, Ore. and are prepped and ready for the start of the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Hayward Field. The four-day meet begins Wednesday, June 5 and extends through Saturday, June 8.
The Gator men are the defending NCAA Outdoor Champions and have placed in the top three at the last four NCAA Outdoor Championships, while the Florida women recorded a third-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
A program-record 28 qualifiers made the trek from Gainesville to Eugene as 14 women, 11 men and three relays will represent the Orange and Blue at historic Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. The women are tied with Oregon for the second-most qualifiers at the NCAA Championships, while the men are also tied with Oregon for the fourth-most qualifiers in Eugene.
Along with the new program record, the 15 Gator women (14 individuals, one relay) qualified for NCAAs is also a Florida record and the 13 UF men (11 individuals, two relays) is the second-most qualifiers in program history. The Orange and Blue qualified a program-record 16 men in 2011.
Leading the way for the Gators is defending NCAA Champion outdoors in the men's triple jump, senior Omar Craddock (Killeen, Texas). Craddock advanced as the top seed to the NCAA Championships with a mark of 16.04m/52-7.50 at the NCAA East Preliminary Round. The Texas native was the only athlete at the East Prelims to surpass the 16-meter mark and was recently named the USTFCCCA South Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year.
Seven Gators participating in the 2013 NCAA Championships have competed at Hayward Field in their time donning the Orange and Blue. Craddock competed in the men's triple jump at the 2010 NCAA Championships in Eugene, finishing sixth, and landed just outside medal contention in fourth at the U.S. Olympic Trials last summer. Also competing at TrackTown USA last summer were Ebony Eutsey (Miami, Fla.), Marquis Dendy (Middletown, Del.), Dedric Dukes (Miami, Fla.), Eddie Lovett (West Palm Beach, Fla.), Cory McGee (Pass Christian, Miss.) and Jeremy Postin (Andover, Kan.).

The ESPN family of networks will broadcast the majority of the meet between ESPN3 and ESPNU, with supplementary webcasting on the Pac-12 Live Stream.
