Gators Add Fresno State to Finalize Non-Conference Schedule

The Florida men's basketball team has finalized its non-conference slate with the addition of Fresno State as the team's opponent in the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla., on Dec. 21.
Also announced Tuesday, the Big 12-SEC Challenge contest vs. Kansas has been set for 7 p.m. on ESPN. On Monday, ESPN announced that Florida's Nov. 12 game at Wisconsin would air at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 as part of the network's annual 24-hour marathon.
The Gators' non-conference schedule features eight home games and is once again among the most challenging in the nation. UF hosts Florida State the day after Thanksgiving before heading to Storrs to meet UConn, followed by the Kansas showdown and neutral-site contests against Memphis and Fresno State.
In addition to those games, Florida has home games lined up against North Florida, Arkansas-Little Rock, Southern, Middle Tennessee, Savannah State and Richmond. The Gators' exhibition game will take place at the O'Connell Center on Nov. 1 vs. Florida Southern.
