Gator Softball Team to Host 2013-14 Tryouts

The University of Florida softball team will host tryouts for the 2013-14 squad. Interested full-time enrolled University of Florida students are required to attend a 5 p.m. meeting on Monday, Sept. 9, at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
In 2013, the Gator softball team made their fifth Women's College World Series appearance of the last six seasons and finished tied for fifth in the nation. Florida swept the Southeastern Conference regular-season and tournament titles. The Gators posted an overall record of 58-9 and won the league title with their 18-6 SEC record.
