
Florida's 2012 SEC Soccer Titles Celebrated at Saturday's Football Game

The University of Florida soccer team's 2012 Southeastern Conference titles were celebrated at the first timeout of the second half of Saturday's Florida versus Tennessee football game at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Florida swept the league's 2012 soccer titles, claiming the SEC soccer championship with its 11-2 record in league play and defeating Auburn 3-0 in the SEC Tournament final. The regular season title was the sixth of the last seven seasons and the 12th in the program's 18-year history. The SEC Tournament title was Florida's 10th and first since 2010.
The 2013 Gators, currently ranked No. 8 on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, are next in action on the road at Oxford, Miss., to face Mississippi (7-1-1, 1-0 SEC) on Friday, Sept. 27. Match time is set for 8 p.m. ET at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
