Florida Football Slips One Spot (No. 20/19) in Latest Polls

After taking down SEC-East rival Tennessee for the ninth-straight year, the Gators dropped one spot in both the Associated Press Poll, to No. 20, and in the USA Today Coaches Poll, to No. 19, released today. The Gators will continue SEC play at Kentucky on Sept. 28. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast by ESPNU.
There are seven teams from the SEC currently ranked in the polls. Among the 10 teams remaining on Florida's schedule, there are four top-15 teams present in rankings: No. 6 LSU (Oct. 12 in Baton Rouge, La.), No. 10 Georgia (Oct. 27 in Jacksonville, Fla.), No. 12/13 South Carolina (Nov. 16 in Columbia, S.C.) and No. 8 Florida State (Nov. 30 in The Swamp).
