
Eli Carter Granted NCAA Waiver

Junior guard Eli Carter (Paterson, N.J.) has been granted an NCAA waiver that will allow him to compete immediately for Florida after transferring from Rutgers this offseason.
“We are happy to have Eli available to play this season,” head coach Billy Donovan said.
Carter averaged 14.3 points over two seasons at Rutgers, including 94 career 3-pointers. He played 56 games, including 46 starts, for the Scarlet Knights.
Florida opens its season at 3 p.m. on Nov. 8 vs. North Florida.
