Gators Ranked Nos. 18 and 20 in Latest Polls

Following Florida's tough 21-16 loss to Miami in Sun Life Stadium, the Gators are ranked 18th in the Associated Press Poll and 20th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, as both were released on Sunday. The Gators are on bye this week and open SEC play when Tennessee comes to Gainesville on Saturday, Sept. 21. Kickoff time and broadcast information will be released tomorrow by the Southeastern Conference office.
There are seven teams from the SEC currently ranked in the polls. Among the 11 teams remaining on Florida's schedule, there are four top-15 teams present in rankings: No. 8 LSU (Oct. 12 in Baton Rouge, La.), No. 9 Georgia (Oct. 27 in Jacksonville, Fla.).No. 13 South Carolina (Nov. 16 in Columbia, S.C.) and No. 10 Florida State (Nov. 30 in The Swamp).
