Gators Wrap Up Play at Illini Open in Fort Myers

The Florida men's tennis team wrapped up play on Sunday at the Illini Open in Fort Myers. Spencer Newman completed an undefeated weekend in singles action. Florent Diep, Stephane Piro and Gordon Watson also picked up singles wins on the final day.
Mike Alford and Stephane Piro paired up for their third doubles win of the weekend. Maxx Lipman and Watson teamed up for the first time and won on Sunday.
The Gators are set to open their dual-match season this Wednesday, January 22, at home against UNF. The match is slated to start at 3 p.m. at Linder Stadium at Ring Tennis Complex.
