
Three Former Gators Advance to Super Bowl XLVIII

The Orange and Blue has made its way to the Super Bowl for the 12th year in a row.
As the Broncos beat the Patriots, 26-16, and the Seahawks took the win over the 49ers, 23-17, in the Conference Championship games tonight, three former Gators will travel to New Jersey for Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Gators have been a part of 16 Super Bowl-winning teams. Florida now totals 41 players and 55 appearances in the Super Bowl.
Former Gators' defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will also represent the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium on Feb. 2.

Andre Caldwell, Denver – Saw action at WR and recorded one reception for 11 yards.
Jeremy Mincey, Denver – Saw action at DE and collected one QB hit against the Patriots.
Lerentee McCray (Injured Reserve), Denver
Seattle Seahawk 23, San Francisco 49ers 17
Ray McDonald, San Francisco – Made the start at LDT and made six tackles, two solo.
Percy Harvin, Seattle – Ruled out before the NFC Championship game due to a concussion.
