Gators Rise One Spot to No. 6 in Recent Polls

The Florida men's basketball team rose one spot to No. 6 in the Associated Press poll and the USA Today Coaches' Poll this week.
The Gators have won nine-straight after victories over Georgia and Auburn. Florida scooted to a 72-50 advantage over the Bulldogs to achieve a new school record of 25 consecutive home wins on Tuesday night, the second best mark in the nation as Duke and Stephen F. Austin are tied with 26.
The Orange and Blue opened SEC play 2-0 on the road with the win at Auburn on Saturday. Senior forward Casey Prather returned to the Gator rotation and put up a team-leading 21 points en route to putting the Tigers away, 68-61.
Florida is set to play at Alabama on Thursday and will return to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on Jan. 25 as they face Tennessee. Fans can click here to view ticket options and purchase available tickets.
