New and Old Gators Play in Alumni Game

The Florida lacrosse program hosted its second annual Alumni Game Friday night at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. A number of former Gators returned to Gainesville for the game, facing off against the current Florida roster.
While the score didn't matter, as the night was all about celebrating the Florida lacrosse program, the Gators bested the alumni, 20-11.
“We were very excited to have everyone back this weekend for the Alumni Game,” said sixth-year head coach Amanda O'Leary. “It was great to have some of the young women who helped build this program return for the night.”
Florida continues its fall schedule next Sunday (Oct. 19) when the team hosts the Florida Fall Tournament. The Gators will play three games over the course of day against Stetson, Jacksonville and Winthrop. The first game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
