Head coach Amanda Butler met with the media Monday to discuss the season opener, possible starters and the progress and leadership she's witnessed from the Gators over the last few weeks of practice.
The Gators look to lone redshirt senior Kayla Lewis who was recently named Preseason Second Team All-SEC by league coaches to lead a roster featuring six juniors, two sophomores and four freshmen. Butler enters her eighth year at the helm for the Orange & Blue.

Season-Opener:
The Gators play host to Jacksonville on Friday, November 14 at 3:15 p.m. in the O'Connell Center. It's the first game of a Gator Basketball double-header, with the men's team taking on William & Mary at 6 p.m.
