Highlighting this week's performances was Chandler Parsons, as he has scored at least 20 points in each of Dallas' last three games. The Mavericks were 3-0 during that stretch.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
Beal has opened the season on the disabled list, as he has been sidelined with a wrist injury. The Wizards are off to a 3-1 start following last night's 98-83 victory in New York.
Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner and the defending NBA champion Spurs are off to a 1-1 start following an opening night win against Dallas on Oct. 28. In that game, Bonner missed both of his shots from the field (0-of-2) but snared two rebounds in San Antonio's 101-100 victory.
Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves
Averaging 24.3 mpg, Brewer is shooting at a .389 clip from the field (7-of-17), as he and the Timberwolves have posted a 1-2 recorded through the team's first three contests. Brewer had his best game in Minnesota's 97-91 win over Detroit, as he scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded two steals.
Nick Calathes, Memphis Grizzles
Calathes is currently serving the end of a 20-game suspension for violating the NBA's drug policy. The suspension was handed down in last year's playoffs. Calathes will sit the Grizzlies first 13 games of the year.
Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat
Haslem has not appeared in a game, however, the Heat are off to a solid 3-1 start. Miami latest victory came against Toronto, 107-102 in South Beach.
Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks
After missing the majority of last season due to an injury, Horford has started this season out with a bang, grabbing a double-double (12 pts.; 13 rbs.) in the Hawks season-opening loss to Toronto. He then led all scorers with 20 points in Atlanta's 102-92 victory at Indiana. The Hawks are back in action tonight at San Antonio.
David Lee, Golden State Warriors
The Warriors are off to a perfect 3-0 start this season with wins over the Kings, Lakers and Trail Blazers. Golden State has recorded each of its wins without Lee, as he has been sidelined with a strained left hamstring. Lee and the Warriors are hopeful that he will return tonight, as they take on the Clippers at 10:30 p.m.
Mike Miller, Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavs are off to a 1-2 start, as they have recorded their lone victory over the Bulls last Friday night in Chicago. Miller has averaged appeared in all three games for Cleveland, but has yet to knock down a three-pointer this season.
Erik Murphy, Austin Spurs
After being traded by a couple of teams this past summer, Murphy was the selected third overall in the NBA D-League draft to the Austin Spurs.
Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls
The NBA's reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Noah is averaging 6.3 ppg., 10.0 rpg., 3.0 apg., and 2.7 bpg., as he has led the Bulls to a 3-1 recorded that includes victories over New York, Minnesota and Orlando. Noah had his best game in Chicago's loss to Cleveland, as he scored eight points, grabbed 13 rebounds, notched four assists and had three blocked shots.
Chandler Parsons, Dallas Mavericks
Parsons is beginning to fit in with his new team. Following a disappointing 2-of-10 shooting performance in Dallas' only loss of the season, at San Antonio, Parsons has scored at least 20 points in the Mavericks next three contests. Highlighted by the Mavs last game in Boston on Monday, as Parson poured in a game-high 29 points with four three-pointers. Parsons is averaging 18.8 ppg., 4.5 rpg. and 2.0 apg.
Marreese Speights, Golden State Warriors
Speights scored 16 points in the Golden State's season-opening win at Sacramento. In addition to his scoring total, Speights grabbed five rebounds and tallied two assists. Speights and the Warriors are a perfect 3-0 and are back in action tonight against the Clippers at 10:30 p.m.
Patric Young, New Orleans Pelicans
Young has yet to appear in his first NBA game, as the Pelicans are off to a 2-2 start. New Orleans has captured its victories against Orlando and Charlotte, both at home.
