
Nora Barry Named ALC Offensive Player of the Week

Junior midfielder Nora Barry has been named the American Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week, which was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Barry led No. 5 Florida's rally to a 14-13 victory over No. 12 Loyola, scoring both the tying and game-winning goals, with the final goal of the game finding the back of the net with 37 seconds left on the clock. Barry scored a total on five goals against the Greyhounds, while also picking up two ground balls and causing two turnovers. As the Gators picked up their first conference win over Michigan, 20-4, Barry scored two goals and added an assist to finish with three points. She also recorded three draw controls, including her 100th career draw control, and a ground ball.
The Gators will host Winthrop for a mid-week matchup on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. before traveling to No. 3/2 Syracuse on Saturday, March 15 at 12 p.m.
